Yesterday I went with my family and held up our American flags as a local soldier who was killed earlier this month in Afghanistan was brought home. When a solider dies, his body is never left alone until he/she makes it to his/her family. I was reminded of the movie, "Taking Chance," which follows an officers journey as he escorts a fallen marine, Chance Phelps, back to his home state of Wyoming. It is a touching movie. Below is a clip. I am so thankful for these heros and their willingness to serve our country.
