Mother's Day Card Ideas

Today my friend Heather has so graciously agreed to show some of her beautiful Mother's Day card ideas. Mother's do so much for their children and deserve a beautiful card with a note expressing sincere appreciation.

The cards are easy to copy and really don't need instructions. However, Heather did pass on a few tips. She used Close to My Heart products for these cards, but you can certainly use whatever paper you would like. She likes Close to My Heart Products because they have coordinating kits which makes coordinating items a sinch. Themes of the cards can be changed. For instance, some have hearts, which could easily be changed to flowers or whatever you desire. She loves using an inkpad to distress the sides & edges of the paper. This done to your liking. Depending how drastic the look you want. You can also sand the edges. She uses paper with a white core. If you want a more dramatic affect you will want to sand more.
