I've been meaning to post a pizza recipe for a couple weeks, but last week my son and I were sick and I didn't cook much because my husband was out of town. However, tonight I am finally going to make pizza. Yeah! The rest of the recipe is coming tomorrow, but we'll start with the sauce today.
Makes enough for one large pizza
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce (I prefer salt free)
1 T parsley
1 T parmesan cheese
½ tsp oregano
½ tsp basil
½ tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Mix ingredients together and if you have time put the sauce in the fridge for a couple hours to let the flavors come together.
