Tasty Tuesday: Mango Salsa

Mango salsa is something I make regularly to spice up a few dishes I make, such as quesedillias, chicken and fish tacos, and on top of baked fish. It is a quick way to add lots of flavor and freshness to a dish.

Mango Salsa

2 mangos, chopped (can substitue with two cans of mandarin oranges)
1 red pepper, chopped
1 jalepeno, diced and seeded
1/3 cup red onion, chopped (green or yellow onions work, too)
1/3 cup cilantro, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Squeeze of lime

  1. YUM! Do you get mangos at a good price at Costco or somewhere? Just curious what's a good price. Staci

  2. I just bought mine at the local grocery store for .69 cents. I think anything under .80 cents is a pretty good price. If they are too expensive, mandarin oranges work, too.
