Sesame Street Birthday Party

My friend Rachel just posted pictures of the Sesame Street Birthday party she threw for her two year old daughter's birthday party. She did an amazing job and I asked if I could share her ideas with you.

Invitation
I love how on the invite she wrote "brought to you by the Letter E and the Number 2" representing the birthday child's first initial and age.

Cupcakes
My favorite idea from her party are the cupcakes she made. Aren't they amazing? Check out this site for instructions on how to decorate Elmo, Bert, Oscar, Cookie, & other Sesame Street Characters.

Party Favors
The party favors she made were also very clever and things you would actually use. A lot of time party favors are just junk you throw away.

She gave bubbles called "Ernie's Magic Bubbles"

Some goldfish from Elmo's pet goldfish, Dorothy.

And cookies from Cookie Monster.
As you can see, all of the favors had cute labels attached to them.

Games
As for games, they played pin the cookie on cookie monster, pin the goldfish on Elmo, and throw Oscar's trash into his trash can. Note: She said these were a bit advanced for two year olds so maybe plan these games for 3 years or older.

Thanks Rachel for the great party idea!
