Decorate Your Flip Flops

I have seen people who have decorated their flips flops with flowers, ribbon, and fabric so I suggested the idea to the youth I work with and they loved the idea. Here is what you need to decorate your own pair.

Supplies:

• Pair of plain colored flip flops (mine were $2.50 at Wal-Mart)
• Ribbon
• Flowers
• Pieces of fabric cut in 1" x 6" strips (or longer or shorter depending on your preference)

If tying pieces of fabric you just simply need to tie the strip in a know on the flip flop. It is as easy as that!

The fake flowers need to removed from the stem and hot glued. You can even glue the leaves on if you want. I think it looks nice to first wrap ribbon around the straps and then glue the flower on.
